Why would you want to do any conversion on your good old Landy? There is nothing wrong with the Landy - it was build to cross the most hostile terrain anywhere in the world. And did it very well and probably still does it in some countries!!

So why fit a diff lock or any other kit? Well, there are some of us that want to go for the more extreme off-road tracks for fun, and then a locker (or two) just does the thing for you. Depending on how you drive, you might have to upgrade other parts too!

So with the combination of Parabolic Springs, Spring over Axle conversion, a few Lockers and a mean engine like a V8, the old Landy finds itself in a different class. Not what the old explorers would have wanted, I presume? Or would they?

They might have found some places a lot quicker!
